Nitrile Rubber (NBR) Solid O Ring Cord, Oil Resistant O Ring Cord
Nitrile rubber, known as NBR, Buna-N, and acrylonitrile butadiene rubber, is a synthetic rubber copolymer of acrylonitrile (ACN) and butadiene.
Nitrile rubber is used in automotive transmission belts, hoses, O-rings, gaskets, oil seals, V belts, and static and dynamic hydraulic seals.
With a temperature range of between -40°C and 120°C
Its advantages also include the following:
Excellent resistance to petroleum oils, crude oil, water, gasoline, propane, and some hydraulic fluids.
Good abrasion and compression set resistance.
Disadvantages of NBR rubber include:
Poor resistance to ozone, sunlight, and weather.
